Meet Your Consultant

Hi, I’m Mandy Coriston, and I can’t wait to hear all about your organization!

But first, here’s a bit about me:

  • I’m a native of Sussex County, New Jersey—a.k.a., the Northwest Corner—where I make my home with my husband, daughter, and a pair of feisty felines who think they rule the roost. (They may be right…)

  • I am an accomplished and award-winning educational, instructional, and STEM ghostwriter, copywriter, journalist, and editor, with a focus on food systems, agriculture, horticulture, and environmental stewardship.

  • I’m a founding board member of the New Jersey Home Bakers Association, a group that was instrumental in bringing NJ’s cottage food regulations to fruition, helping to grow food entrepreneurship in the Garden State.

  • I’m certified by the North American Food Systems Network to facilitate the AgriCluster Resilience & Expansion (ACRE) Strategic Planning Process, as well as train new ACRE Facilitators; I also chair the ACRE Circle as part of NAFSN leadership.

  • I also hold two certifications from Rutgers Cooperative Extension: I am an award-winning Volunteer Master Gardener (Class of 2016, Sussex County Golden Trowel Award 2017, State Award for Excellence 2017, and Aurum Insigne 2023) and a Green Infrastructure Champion (Class of 2023).

  • I chair my township’s Environmental Commission and serve as liaison on collective action projects between our town’s municipal boards, elementary school, and residents.

  • I’m a perpetual learner and experienced leader, facilitator, organizer, researcher, public educator, and advocate for a holistic approach to equity and inclusion in all my endeavors.

You can read more about my background and additional projects on LinkedIn.

But enough about me…tell me about you! Scroll down to get in touch today.
